Kite surfing is a cross between wakeboarding, snowboarding, surfing, windsurfing and powerkiting and there’s nothing to compare when it comes to pure adrenaline sport. The amazing power generated by today’s kites coupled with their performance offers the kite surfer complete three dimensional freedom as with no other land or water based sport.

Cruising along butter smooth water, riding massive waves or flying through the air – kite surfing gives you all this and more.

Kite surf taster days from Paracademy Extreme are the best around and our taster day programme will give you an introduction to the sport. As with any naturally powered sport, lessons are imperative as the kites used are performance machines capable of delivering a nasty bight in untrained hands!

Our taster day is a one day lesson weather permitting and covers the basics of the sport. Training is by professional instructors many of whom have passed through our ITC (instructor training course) so you have a guarantee of first class tuition.

Taster days are ideal for group parties too!

Personal training is available on request for either 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 persons. Personal training is dependent on instructor availability and all outdoor courses are subject to cancellation due to adverse weather conditions.

What to bring with you

You will need a few things before you begin so please bring a towel, swimming trunks or similar and sun screen. We recommend complete sun block (50+) as you will spend some time looking up at your kite – we don’t get much sun in the UK but what we get is strong and sun safety is taken very seriously at Paracademy Extreme. You may like to bring an old pair of sun glasses too. You will be issued with helmet wet suit, harness and buoyancy aids.
