Courses @ Paracademy Extreme
Our courses are run to the very highest levels ensuring you receive the finest training in your elective course. Many of our instructors were trained by us through our ITC (instructor training course) programme so you are guaranteed quality tuition. We are also an IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) affiliated centre.
Sea based courses are run in the safe water of Portland Harbour – selected 2012 Olympic sailing waters. The prevailing winds make the location a prime spot for kite surfers and during the summer months there are kite boarders from all over the globe taking advantage of the flat water and good winds.
We take care of all the required equipment your course may need from wet suits to kites and of course full insurance cover while under training. Our centre has a café, a well stocked shop, changing facilities and showers. The classroom uses the latest teaching aids as you would expect from the UK’s premier instructor training centre including audio visual displays and projectors.
Weymouth and Portland, Dorset is at the heart of the World Heritage Coast so there’s plenty to do for the family or your partner while you undertake your course. There’s a great selection of accommodation in the resort not to mention the plethora of cafes, bistros and bars that line the historic Weymouth Harbour. After a good day of activity there’s no better way to unwind and Weymouth caters in abundance!
