Our centre in Weymouth & Portland
During the latter half of 2005 we moved from our Ferry Bridge site to a larger centre based toward the south side of Portland harbour formally occupied by Perry’s diving shop.
The early part of 2006 saw massive improvements in the building to cater for our expanding business. The centre was in effect gutted leaving nothing more than a shell.
Today our centre boasts a café offering a range of goodies to keep you fuelled up, a well stocked shop offering a range of goods from power kites to beach wear, mountain boards and kite surfing equipment.
To cater to our students we have his and hers changing rooms, showers, toilets and secure storage for your personal belongings while out of the centre. Our training room is a dedicated centre of learning such as you would expect from the UK’s premier training centre. We have full audio visual facilities, projectors and full stock of training aids for your elective course.
We are located to the south of the causeway running between Weymouth and the island of Portland at the foot of Chesil beach – the first building on your right as you come on to the island. Our car park is local authority run but purchasing a day ticket at the centre allows you to park at the Chesil car park for water courses. The Chesil nature reserve car park is 100 metres from the water’s edge.
